Welcoming the New Adults: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is for everyone who wants to know more about the Catholic Faith. If you are not Catholic and want to know more, this is for you. If you or your spouse are not Catholic, this is a superb opportunity to obtain a better understanding of your partner’s faith. If you are a baptized Catholic who has not been confirmed, this is for you.

Activities

  • Classes are held approximately once a week and follow the program generally used in RCIA programs.
  • At different stages of the journey candidates are introduced to and welcomed by the parish community.
  • Candidates are received into the Church at the Easter Vigil.
  • Candidates include those who have never been Baptized, or those who have been Baptized in any faith tradition but have not received either Eucharist or Confirmation or both.

Meetings

Meetings are held once a week from September to the Easter Vigil on Tuesday at 7 pm. Meetings are held in the parish conference room (next to the Thrift Shop on the rectory side of the church.)
