OLMC At-A-Glance

Preschool

Preschool children do not wear school uniforms. For '08-'09 Pre-K 4 children will participate in physical education, music, art, computers, library, and Spanish once a week. There is a lunch program available for Pre-K-4. The children have recess and rest time during the day. Preschool children also participate in school Masses and most assemblies and they are involved each year in a Christmas and spring concert as well as Grandparents' Day and Moving up Ceremonies. Pre-K 3 hours are from 8 AM - 11:00 AM five days per week Pre-K 4 hours are from 8 AM - 2:10 PM five days per week.

Elementary School

Kindergarten at OLMC is a full day program. Pre-K 4 through fourth grades participate in physical education, art, music, computers, Spanish, life skills andlibrary once a week. Uniforms are required for school and physical education.

Middle School

Middle school includes grades five through eight. Middle school students have homeroom teachers and then change classes and instructors during the day. Hallway lockers are provided for book storage. In addition to core classes the curriculum includes Life Skills, Library, physical education, art, music, computers, and Spanish.

All elementary and middle school students wear the OLMC school uniform and OLMC gym uniform. The lunch period is broken into two sections and located onsite in the OLMC cafeteria, with alternating recess periods.

After-School Activities and Aftercare

OLMC offers the following after school activities: Aviation Club, Drama Club, Gymnastics, Peer Mediation, Student Council and Yearbook. Some of these activities had an added cost.

Aftercare is available every normal school day, beginning immediately after school and extending until 6:00 PM. In the event of a 1/2 day, OLMC schedules special programs from 12:00PM to 2:30PM with aftercare following from 2:30PM to 6:00 PM.

Campus Buildings

The OLMC Campus consists of the main school building which contains our Pre-K-4 through eighth grades. Pre-K-3 and our Media Center are located in an adjacent building (the convent). The Church and rectory are across the street.
