Extended Day Care

We have had an extremely positive response to our Extended Care Program. The children have enjoyed the additional activities and special events incorporated into the program which brought a fresh combination of fun and learning.

We would like to give you a little insight as to what the children may be involved in.

Homework Time
Homework time is taken very seriously. Students are encouraged to complete their lessons on their own; however, when help is needed there is always someone eager to help. Our counselors are always there to guide and provide the understanding and knowledge to see them through.

Computers
Who knew we could have so much fun reinforcing basic skills in arithmetic, phonics, and reading from animated computer screen. Each child benefits from independent, individualized learning.

Arts & Crafts
What a better way to express individual creativity with the addition of the Invention Box. Our students stretch their imaginations and express themselves through their own creativity! The children never run out of things to make from that point on.

Outdoor Play
Our awesome playground offers equipment that encourage exercise, stimulate and expand each child’s imagination. The children benefit by learning how to get along with others and how to socialize in a group.

Culinary Creations
Our students enjoy not only making all of their own delicious treats but; eating and sharing them too! The children benefit by learning how to measure various quantities and sample all of their efforts.

The Five O’Clock Movie
What a great way to wind down after a long day. The Knights of Columbus have generously donated a TV and we purchased new VCR’s, which enable us to enjoy all the latest Disney releases.

Special Events
We plan special events throughout the year on extended days such as a visit with Best Friends Pet Grooming and a visit from the Smokey the Bear. We have hosted visits from Van Grow Art Program and Art Show, Boonton Karate, and Bundles of Tumbles Gymnastics. Their contributions have made our days exciting and help us to expand our talents and interests.

 

We look forward to growing and expanding to fit the needs of our families. And we always have an open door to new ideas, which bring a positive effect to our children.
